    Cloud sync and P2P sync

I cannot wrap my head around these two.

How exactly do they differ in terms of what the end user can do with data sync? And why is it said that cloud sync allows access to arbitrary folder sync (what is arbitrary folder sync, anyways?).

As I understand it the two are not mutually exclusive - "cloud" computing/syncing encompasses both the client-server and p2p systems.
There's isn't any difference as far a what the user can do or how he does it, it's more of a trade-off of security vs speed/reliability.

But looking at a P2P sync service's website may clear up some of the confusion.
