    Linux packets

    Hey Im just wondering if you were using a linux oS like Fedora or Redhat
    Wehres the directory that contain the packet of linux. The one thats installed in the running OS like if my Fedora was using linux.2.6.30 where can i find the .gz that contains linux in which directory

    If you are referring to the kernel, it is usually located in /boot, filename "vmlinuz"
