Awhile back I was backing up my computer files with an HP recovery program (created by a company called Soft Thinks) - it was preloaded on to the computer. I was backing up the files in to my iPod, I had done this several times before and it had worked well.
The backup program compresses the files you want into some format called .fbw - and so I did this, and it was at 99% for several hours. I got annoyed and disconnected it and reformatted my computer. I was pretty stupid to do that, when I opened up the recovery program and clicked next it just didn't do anything! I tried various methods and none worked, other HP users had experienced similar problems, and an emergency recovery tool was released by Soft Thinks, this however did not work for me.
I've tried for over a year now with different methods and to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do?
