Phone system

Anyone know anything about PBX phone systems? We are switching some office around at my work and want to change the display names on the phones to match the extensions. The way I understand it is that you have to plug into the phone server and make the changes there, not on the phone itself. When we first had the system installed the tech had his laptop pluged into the system to set everything up. Anyone know of any software I can get to make these changes myself?(company is to cheap to pay the tech to come out for such a "trivial" thing) Web searches have been pretty usless, all I can get is info on the system itself and nothing on the install / setup / config.

The system we are using is a Win Comm mk440ct.

Seems from this that you need specialist help to change names on the extensions.

Phone System Tech Support: MK440CT

Of course, I have no idea, I just googled it.

Yeah, that's one of the very few hits I got on google. I know how it's done I just don't know what software package I can use to communicate with the server.

Anyone?
