    Uninstalling Ikonboard

    Hello.
I know this is way offtopic, but I couldn't find anything on Google and Ikonboard support was giving my invalid license key or something, I've never got one of those, so I just turned to you awsome peeps!

Anyways, I installed Ikonboard and then made a big mistake and had to uninstall, I deleted all the folders and mySQL database tables, and later when I tried re-installing I got a nasty error talking about some Boardinfo.cgi not being found. So after some time of countless trying I figured out that Ikonboard still thinks it's installed and I can't start the installer over again :S
    Please help!
    Thanks in advance.

Did you try to unistall Ikonboard by just deleting folders etc, instead of using the Windows uninstaller?

If so, all the original registry settings for Ikonboard are still in the Windows registry, and that's probably why Ikonboard think's it's still installed.

And trying to clean out of the registry is messy and dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.

Try rebooting the computer and then try to reinstall Ikonboard again.

    Good luck.
OS: Linux Mint 13(Maya) LTS 64 bit.

Well, I deleted all the folders and all that plenty of times xP
And all this runs on a bluehost server, so I can't mess with the registry :S

Ikonboard is not a Windows app!
    It's a Perl-based forum!
But as for the error... I can't say without investigation. I'll help you once you get online
