    Xp Sp3

Looking at the windows updates after having installed SP2 and feeling really depressed. The option is installing SP3 and reducing that behemot list considerably.

Stable? Anyone encountered any problems? Should I do it?

I've had no problems whatsoever with SP3 (been running it pretty much since it came out).
But I would urge you to beware if you have a retail machine with an amd processor because some retailers are dumb enough to install Intel drivers on their amd machines which will cause a BSOD in SP3.

Looks like an Intel processor to me (a Core2Duo).
