it does when your case is running at 50C... and with 4 HD's spinning, I really don't need any more noise from a fan...

mine's on top of my desk... under the desk it gets kicked, can get struck by static charges from the rug, and the CD tray gets attacked by...
I have a blue LED fan, a red EL round IDE cable, and a green EL Round IDE cable... but for now I don't have enough power supply connections to have both the cables lit at the same time... :rolleyes:
