Anyway, I can't declare a major until the end of freshman year. It'll be some pair of aero/astro engineering, physics, and linguistics...

MITers are mostly good people. They just don't sleep a lot. You get used to it, though. :)
Certainly, there are some elitists, and probably more than other places, but they are fairly easy to avoid.

Yeah, Google has been placing all sorts of recruitment stuff in one of my school's newspapers. There were some full page ad puzzles, the Google Labs Aptitude Test has appeared twice, and the latest...
