Those 2 I would say are, but not as mainstream as Linkin Park or that other crap. Most of the other bands I wouldn't even see some kid wearing a T-shirt of. I only consider bands "mainstream" crap...
U.S. That may be why...the bands I listed aren't international superstars, they are pretty popular but not that well known. Not really mainstream either.
