I just upgraded to FiOS which is 2.5 Megabytes/second (20 Megabits) down and 1 Megabytes/second (8 Megabits) up. Not a bad upgrade, I'm enjoying this awesome speed.

I've never even heard of people using i, j and k as variables for anything. I'm used to seeing variable names like count or x for loops.
I thought that's what all of those functions like fgetc were considered, part of iostream?
And also, I really don't know the difference between C and C++, so sorry if I put this in the wrong...
I thought iostream.h and <iostream> in the header were the same thing? Oh well, here is the code;
void CopyFile(char* src, char* dest) {
FILE* s;
FILE* d;
s = fopen(src,"rb");...
I've been trying to get a basic Copy function working (Move is what I want, but I figure I'd make a copy function first). I built the function using iostream.h, creating the file in the wanted...
I don't know, I personally didn't like Mario Kart DS. But the other day I bought Starfox Assault, and boy I'm in love with that game. Although the game is rather short I'd love to see some Starfox...
To be honest I'm not even sure if the school has a Wireless Network; It's a trade school, and I have yet to go to the actual campus yet (I plan on visiting sometime during Christmas Vacation). When I...
I think personally I'm going to be sticking with Ubuntu, I'm just gonna get my Notebook from the sales site originally posted. If I got a notebook from there though, would I be able to (In the...
The tutorial on this site's pretty good for the most part, but if you really need an alternative to that why not buy a book? They're relatively cheap and you can find them at most local chain...
Welcome, I'm new too and I'm enjoying it here so far.:)
Hm, well I want to go to college for software development but I thought I'd get a start ahead of time by learning some C++ in my spare time. I guess if I had to choose between the two, I'd choose...
It wasn't actually meant to be a program, I'm only messing around with functions; I haven't even been doing C for a week yet.
Well I'm not complaining, the Wii actually looks amazing. But I didn't like the idea of the touch screen, it was a good try but it didn't take off as well as I've hoped.
I'm very new to C/C++, and I'm currently using the C-Styled strings. I'm trying to compare it to the contents of a file, just so I understand how to do it in the future. What kind of a command would...
Wow thanks, that site is really helpful.
I think I'm going to buy my laptop from there. Pretty cheap, too.
I'm looking into getting Linux for my college Notebook, but I am (as you can tell) pretty new to the whole *NIX thing. I'm wondering what version of Linux is good for new users, but at the same time...
It looks very nice; I myself am too lazy to make a homepage for my site so I just use WAMP's homepage (http://pobega.ath.cx:1020/).
Looks very well done and professional though, I could never...
I don't know, I'm not personally one to like touch screens. I mean that's just a personal vendetta, nothing against the company.
The Wii actually looks promising, I hope it doesn't follow the Nintendo DS though: Looked promising but played crappy.
And about games being shipped with consoles, all of the Nintendo consoles had...
