Well it's not a requirement, it's just I find it easier to layout my source code when it's all "griddy".

It's not bad unless you're trying to read it from the other side of the room. 1152x864 with 8pt is too small, 10pt is too big. IMO.
MSVC 2003 + Dina 9pt + Music > Code::Blocks + Courier 8pt

Courier New? Eww. I used to use it all the time but it gets boring to look at. :p

Is the name of my favourite programming font. Fixed width of course, crossed zeros too.
Didn't cost me anything to download, I just remember spending an afternoon looking for another font because...
