Lets say I'm doing a calculator program. The user inputs his/her two numbers and press enter. The screen shows the answer for like 3 seconds than quits. I tried using the getch() and cin.get()...
Not sure if this will help much, but for anything about Mac, go here: http://developer.apple.com
Thanks to both you guys. But i didn't need that green square I was just wondering why I got a red square. Thanks anyway man.
I just logged in and I noticed I got a red square... When I hover my mouse over it, it says "Kai_Legends needs a few bug fixes before production release". I haven't released anything on these forums...
This guy is a genius. He took Grand Theft Auto I & II from PSX to NES. He tore apart his PSX and NES consoles, and linked them together so that the NES could run PSX games.
He programs in...
Yeah I figured out what I did wrong last time. I left out a step, to extract the stage tarballs themselves. How much stupider can I get? lol.
[EDIT:]
This is going way out of topic. Somebody...
Oh okay. Pointers just allocates memory for variables. I get it now. Thanks alot guys!
Last time I tried installing Gentoo, it was almost impossible. I tried 10 times and each try failed. Their documentation should be more clear. But hey, maybe I'll try again?
I kinda get it now. Malloc is a pointer that points to a block with 100 bytes right? and whenever I wanna delete a pointer just enter this "delete ptr"?
I hear that Red Hat 9 was the last version... either way, its too big to download even with DSL. I think I'll just fork over 10 bucks and get it on CD.
Last time I checked, it was closed... Fedora Project was the only thing available than....
I kinda get it. Pointers are like arrows that points to how much memory a variable allocates? like if I declare a "short" variable, the pointer will carry its memory slot?
Oh i see. You know, I've always been interested in Linux. Maybe I should install Gentoo Stage 3 on the new PC with my DSL connection. I want RedHat, but its discontinued :(.....
Actually all I have to do is buy Mac OS X. I have like 3 Windows Versions on CDs and that includes Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition.
BTW, I'm not trying to show off. Sorry if it sounds like...
I'm a newbie so don't yell. I'm advancing up to Pointers now. And it is so confusing. I know pointers have something to do with memory addressing, but thats about it. Can anyone help me out? Just to...
Maybe i can dual boot the new computer or something. Give them both a test-drive.
very nice list. Looks like I'm gonna be downloading quite a few things tonight!
Well, I'm gonna use the OS for Graphic Design, Watching Anime, Programming/Game Design, 3D Modelling, and any other multimedia I forgot.
yeah but think of it this way, only 2 and 1/2 more years ( I'm turning 16 ) and i can have a home of my own.
I am hoping to get a new pc to replace this one. Its a new Sony 3.0 GHz pc and i'm trying to decide if I should keep my current OS (Windows Server 2003) or if I should switch to Mac OS X on the new...
omg, i am one of the youngest dudes here, lol. In that case, I should feel a little special, huh? lol.
Hello. I'm new to this C++ programming but I'm picking up quick. My name is "Kai_Legends" ( no, not really, its actuall just Kai ) and I am a 15-year-old sophmore. I started programming about 3 years...
