i think the solar wind is actually charged particles.
and light doesn't have a mass even at light speed does it ????
ow don't explain, i think i'll go back to my Stephen Hawking book.........

are you quoting Star Trek ????
why not anyway ??
i want to know more about the universe !!
unfortunately its all just too far away !!
whats light propulsion ?? light having no mass, how does...
yeah thats what i think, its a shame.
still we won't get attacked by civilisations millions of years more advanced than us !!!
thats interesting i think, the time frame
the universe is around 14...
i don't think alpa centauri has a solar system though does it ??
i saw a prog on searching for planets, i dont think they found any close by, so far.
could be wrong, correct me if i am.
surely...
well i'm not an expert but i'm fascinated and have read Stephen Hawking's books and made a big effort to understand them. not sure if i've been completely successful.
so if we can...
well its debatable, but Stephen Hawking seemed to think they are theoretically possible, i read his book .also discusses warp drives. oddly enough he's a star trek buff. mebe weve both seen too much...
would the time dilation effect still happen if a space ship were to enter a wormhole in our galaxy and appear in another galaxy (far far away) ??????
sci-fi i know, but wormholes do theoretically...
i think current thinking is that photons are massless (even at the speed of light). if they had mass they couldn't travel at the speed of light.
but gravity ONLY affects mass, therefore should not...
thats a good link, i had read that on the other thread you replied on.
doesn't quite explain it for me though.
in fact the fact that gravity bends light is a poser for far greater brains than ours,...
it is true according to Stephen Hawking and his book "a brief history of time". he's supposed to be one of the top brains arround, so it must be true !!!!
his next book "universe in a nutshell" is...
