Working my way up
Hey guys, i wanna ask if there would be anyone in this forum who could help me improve my skills of C++ programming. For two years now i've been practicing C++, Windows and OpenGL ( all of them together sometimes ) as a hobbiest, but i seem to have run out of ideas about what to build next, as i've tried building text games, simple applications, simple 2D games like tictactoe and even a full featured game engine ( Well, that last didn't work out good enough though ).
My point is, could anyone kinda examine me of what i do or don't know and even provide me with a few 'homework'? I really like programming and that why i want to become better at this. ((( Only volunteers are accepted :D )))

If you don't have any idea and don't want to work professionally, take a break. If you want to work professionally, take a look at some jobs, and work on your qualifications for those. You may well learn something completely different and have more tools in your toolbox.

I do want to work professionally, so i'm gonna take your advice and start thinking this more seriously. What do you mean by 'take a look at some jobs'? I've studied many tutorials recently about algorithms, efficienty, smart programming etc. Is that what you mean?

i think whiteflags means real jobs in which you work....

Another suggestion: this is not paid, but you may actually find something interesting to do:
https://savannah.gnu.org/people/
If you click on "developer", I notice currently at the top of the list is a request for "C, OpenGL, GTK+ and Vala developers". There's a C++ one in there somewhere too. However, pretty sure these will all be *nix based or cross-platform.
Maybe the windows world has something parallel, I dunno.

Thanks for the links and all guys. I'll surely look into it a bit more...
