Ros Explorer

Ros Explorer is a freely available program intended as replacement of MS Windows XP Explorer and XP shell.
The source code is available:
http://www.foxplanet.de/explorer/

How to disable/hide all desktop icons and diasble the right-click context menu on desktop?
The MinimizeAllWindows button on the taskbar is also useless.
I studied the source code, but no such luck.
Is there any programmer in here willing to compile an adapted bare-bones version?
Or does anybody know a more specific forum for this project?

I take it that you've emailed the original author, and got no response?

And have looked at the actual purpose of this forum rather than just posting somewhere at random?

Why not fetch the latest version from the ReactOS repository?

You must not have studied the source code very hard...

Took me about 20 seconds to find the right click context menu function for the desktop, explorer-src/desktop/desktop.cpp line 576 with the source-zip from the website you mentioned.

However it should be noted that this tool is no where near finished so statements like "The MinimizeAllWindows button on the taskbar is also useless." are obscene!

Even if it were finished, that stement woudl be obscene. Just because one person doesnt find a feature useful doesnt mean it isnt extremely useful to another. Although such features should have a checkbox somewhere to turn them off.

I wonder if you have some time to kill to recompile

Nope, sorry, it's XMAS.

Also, using the "report post" feature to annoy all the moderators with the same message will not get you very far either

Perhaps you meant to send a private message to one of the people who've replied to this thread already (again, tread carefully). A reply on a forum is not any indication of willingness to work for an extended time on your project.
