Job Title: Technical Specialist – Update Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking a creative, motivated, experienced and energetic problem-solver to join a group of experts responsible for delivering product corrections and enhancements to our customers. As a member of a worldwide team, you will develop your technical, professional, and personal skills, within an environment of teamwork, cooperation, and fun. You will work with support, release engineering, development and product management to package and distribute product updates. This position will also encourage and prepare you to take on other growth opportunities within the organization.

Job Responsibilities:
• Contribute to a smart, cooperative, problem solving team in a fast paced environment
• Understand the construction and integration of a large, complex software package
• Enhance your personal interaction, presentation, and leadership skills
• Be challenged to apply and develop your creative problem solving skills
• Interact with other areas of the company responsible for QA, Engineering, Sales and Product Management

A mentor will help you identify and develop your technical, professional, and personal skills for a successful technical career. Depending on your level of experience the training program can include: classroom learning, e-learning, projects, and external courses. Your mentor will also help familiarize you with the InterSystems environment.

Job Qualifications:
Aptitude, Communication, Professionalism, Initiative, and Passion are all musts.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent; (Physics, Mathematics, Sciences)
• Experience or familiarity with programming languages
• Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems
• Experience with Code Management & Software Integration tools
• Experience with Unix/Linux or Windows environments and the C language a must
• Microsoft Windows, Unix
• Experience with open source utilities
• SQL a plus
