    Developers Wanted

Quasicom is looking for talented people who would be interested in joining our team. Quasicom is a new company that is embracing the virtual world, offering services in many different areas and employing staff from all over the world.

We offer services in the following areas: -

    • Programming and development - from macros to games in every language.
    • Website development – from flash to html and everything in between.
    • 2D/3D art and animation – from editing pictures to movie special effects and composition.
    • DTP – from compiling magazines to creating PowerPoint presentation.

We require talented individuals who have skills in one or more of the areas above, this is not an easy money work from home advert that you typically see scattered around the internet so if you don’t have any skills in the above areas then there is no need to apply. You also need to be reliable and mature enough to be able to work without someone there to look over your shoulder.

You can work as little or as much as you want so if you wanted to do this as a part time job to earn a bit more money to supplement your main income or if you wanted to do this as a full time job then we will try and accommodate you. If you have a very narrow selection of skills then obviously the amount of work we could potentially send your way would also be limited so we may not always have work for you, bare this in mind before giving up your current job.

When we receive a project from one of our clients the work is broken up into several (or maybe even hundreds) of blocks and these are assigned to individuals to complete. Each block is worth a certain amount of work hours so for example if you were sent a webpage to write and this webpage was worth 2.5 work hours, you would get paid 2.5 x your hourly rate no matter how long it takes you to do the work. As long as the work is completed by the deadline set you can do the work as and when you please. Work hours for any particular block are calculated by the length of time it should take an average person to do the job so you may well be able to complete the job in much less time whilst still being paid the same.

We are interested in hearing from everybody whether you are just starting out in your career or are a veteran, This is an excellent opportunity to work in your own time from home, at excellent rates and with great opportunities to work on many exciting projects and in return we want staff who are skilled and not scared to learn, reliable and mature enough to work without face to face supervision.

If you are interested in joining our team please email us with the following information: -

    i. What skills you have i.e. Visual Basic or Java etc.
ii. Your resume or a summary of projects you have worked on.
iii. How much time you are able to commit each week to working with us.

So if you are interested please email [email protected] we are interested in hearing from everybody who has something to offer but due to the high volume of submissions please allow a few days for us to respond.

Hope to here from you soon.
    The Quasicom Team

What are the hourly rates? (a range would be OK)

Email them (its in the post for all to see) - don't bump the thread they'll probably never visit again.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
