let's just say: pointer is evil!!! Once you lost track of it, it's a pain in the butt to try and find out where you've lost it.
Depends on what pointer it is and where you use them. And in C++, I'd say that argument is void. You can use memory managers and smart pointers to hold them for you.

Does that mean C++ is evil too? Pointers are pretty integral to C++, and refusing to use them is like cutting off your limbs.
