The GNU Scientific Library - nonlinear fitting

Hello All,


Does anyone have any experience with this library? I'm trying to find examples of nonlinear polynomial fitting(in C++) but all i can find is the example given in the manual which is a decaying exponential function and i can't get it to compile and so i can't really guage what's going on. If anyone can point me in the direction of a tutorial i'd be so greatfull. I'm by no means an expert in programming and therefore i'm getting nowhere by reading the manual.
