i've installed Windows XP with VM additions in my virtual machine,but i still can't drag'n'drop files from the host winxp to the emulated one and vice versa

i think vm additions is correctly installed,the mouse pointer integration works...

you should network them :)
Are you trying to drag-and-drop right on the VM window?
You typically trasfer files just like you would with any other computer on the network - network file sharing, etc...
