Help with linking to other c++ libraries via .net

Hello;

Does anyone know the procedure to link to other c++ libraries within Microsoft 7.2 .net via the XP environment. My Windows 2000 was recently replaced with XP. I was using the xerces c++ libraries. I had someone else in the office to create my links in windows 2000, however this person is on TDY and since the upgrade, I lost connectivity with the xerces libraries.

Through the properties/Environment/Advance via MyComputer, I was able to set the path to xerces, however the connection did not take. Any advice will be help. I think you have to establish some connection within the .net IDE as well.
