Thanks,
if you're sending using HTML, then use HTML...
edit: in case you're asking what the tags are:
<img src="[path to image]" alt="[text that appears when you float your mouse over it></img>
edit: nevermind... you can't usually just put html into your email... I guess it depends on your mail client...
I don't think you can do it with Yahoo mail. The best you can do is insert a link to the image or use an attachment like you said.
too bad. Thanks anyways.
yeah, I was trying it with hotmail/gmail and the best I got was a link/attatchment... but I think with a client like thunderbird or outlook you may be able to do something like that... I'm not sure though...
alot of people block images that come like that anyway, for security reasons...
you got a gmail account!! :D really? interesting. you know there isn't any need to show off Major :p
yeah, I know you're jealous... invites are so hard to come by these days
Just wanted to add. When you send an attachment in yahoo it automatically puts the attachement on the pages so it works out fine.
Thanks for all the replies
Where in the standard does it say it has to do that? I only see display instead of image if images are turned off?Quote:
text that appears when you float your mouse over it
I got that from w3Quote:
text to use in place of the referenced image resource, for example due to processing constraints or user preference.
