No idea at all...

Hey guys, great site!

I am wanting to create a program that downloads certain files off the net.
It would ideally have a section of which you can choose what file you want then click download. Where/what would i do about making this kind of program?

Not quite. 'ftp' is the name of a command-line program that services ftp requests (in c:\Windows on MS platforms). There isn't a corresponding 'http' program. You should read up on how the protocol works before proceding, anyway - what would be the point of giving you the code before you even understand it?
