Go to www.java.sun.com look at how Java is set up.
An SDK contains a whole bunch of APIs... SDKs also have a lot
of documentation, tools, example programs.
DirectX is an SDK. Direct3D is an API (which is part of DirectX)...
I don't know. I'm probably wrong. That's how I've always thought
of it, though.
