i wouldn't care.
Ok, thats cool. Thats the basic kind of response I was looking for.
strange topic. I've worked with homosexuals before. Some were great, some weren't. I find the ones that act all flamboyant(sp) to be really annoying though. I don't think being gay should immediately mean you have to act like an idiot. But those who just act like regular people I have no problem with. but....
Just work on your game already!!!
Did you start that other thread?
That's like saying "If you walked past a homosexul person one day how would you feel?". It's pointless. You should ask what you mean instead of dancing around it, "Do homosexual people make you uncomfortable?" is probably what you meant. My answer is no, I couldn't care less about someone's sexual orientation. This isn't a flame BTW, I'm just letting you know that a question that seems to hide the real question makes me wonder about the person who asked it.
I couldn't agree more! It just reinforces a negative stereotype.Quote:

I stay away from the flamboyant ones. They are scarier than the I.R.S!!!
A normal topic?
Well Ive never had one, but I guess I dont know how I would feel until I do. As long as he doesnt act that way in front of emplyess I think I would be fine.
ps: nice avatar Dr. Bebop
i really don't care about sexual orientation,... it's none of my business what/who you want to have sex with.
but when people bring it up in conversation (i.e. "i had the best sex with ____ a few days ago") i think it's down right rude.
if he openly cam out and started chanting he was gay i would be out of there... if it was only suspected i really wouldnt care but once he brings it into the workplace i would be gone...
A) If this is a normal topic, why does it have to be preceded by "Normal Topic".
B) Why are you asking this? This is equivalent to asking "If your boss was very strong, would you be uncomfortable?" Being gay is just a trait, similar to eye color, strength, ect. People make way to big of a deal over it.
I don't think being gay counts as a trait. You're not born like that. Being gay is a life style, you just happen to like it up the ..........(well, thats what homosexuals do right?)
okay...if they are flambouyant enough that I know about it, then I have a problem with it. If I don't know about it, then I can't have a problem with it, so...basically, if I knew he was gay, then yes, I would have a problem with it. Don't flame me, any of you that believe in the Bible...it says to stone gays to death upon sight...I believe that I am being lenient with them here.
You idiotic programmer. Stop spamming!!
sorry about that guys...:( i was actually trying to find out if there was a limit to the number of characters u can post in here while replying .... i guess i accidentaly pressed the submit reply button.

Im getting sick of this "Normal Topic *:" in front of most every one of Alphabird32's threads.
I'm sick and tired of your 13 year old ignorant attitude. If you don't like the topic then don't reply. Complaining about the topic name won't get you anywhere. Don't be angry because you're not going to become a moderator. Take your frustrations out on Aran.

Also, why should he take out his frustrations on me? It's kinda hard to type and get rid of frustrations.. if he was frustrated i'm sure he'd be smart enough to take out his agression in a more intelligent place than a keyboard.
Is he hot? Cuz then I'd do him.
::laughs:: Tell that to my very christian friend, with his very conservative christian family...Quote:

I view being gay more as a culture than a life style.

Or you could all stop "viewing" and maybe start "researching". Let me think, should I _guess_ or should I _know_? Hmm, tough one.

And dito yet again. I dont know why so many people are so infatuated over this topic. No one who matters cares what your sexual preference is. Thats your business not mine. Whatever turns your crank, as the saying goes.
In most cases a homosexual is a person who was covered in the opposite hormones to their sexuality in the whom. this is why you can see many female characteristics in many "gay" men. Treating them differently is like being rasist, they are still humans.
I personal wouldn't care if I had a gay employer/boss. I don't like interfer with other peoples personal lifes.
I'd like to see you're documentation on that. aka I don't believe it.Quote:

Don't you love how, when people can't explain things, they make up stuff that seems vaguely scientific and try to pass it off as fact?Quote:

"So, you take the flux capacitor...."
Yeah it's great. There is no known scientific explaination for homosexuality...it could be genetic, it could be enviroment, it's probably both. But as far as I'm concened that BS until i see real studies.
LMAO. If I ran the world for just one day........Quote:

Kermi3, I love you. I think when I was a child I was covered (smothered, really) by hormones of the other sexuality in the whom.
Sorry...couldn't resist.
I could honestly care less what someone's sexual orientation was, but if I knew, it's not like either one would make me nervous or uncomfortable.
I wouldn't care. Two of my best friends are gay and I don't care about that. They are just another person to me.
heer heer
and wait a sec....You love me too Ken????? I thought it could bever be!!!!!!! :D :D :D
Here's a related question: Do heterosexuals make homosexuals uncomfortable? If not, why the hell should a homosexual make me uncomfortable?
I seen a documentry of it on the TV, I believe their "bull----" over yours...
Thankyamuch, Aran, you sure saved me an a........load of typing.Quote:

I would like to agree wit some of you adn disagree with others. Its not whether or not i KNOW they are gay, but how i found about it that would probably be the deciding factor. If the gay person hit on ME, then i would definately hold some animosity toward them. If i saw them hitting on other guys, i think i would probably be wary of them. But, if they are like one of my friends, who has never showed a sign of it, ever, and i only know because he told me, then i would definately be OK with it. I think it would improve my opinion of them if they trusted be enough, and were confortable enough, to tell me such a thing. This is in the scope of a friend, i've never come across anything like it with superiors.

I have no problem being friends with and working with gay people. I don't like how some are overly "out there", but I don't think a person with that personality would get a job here in the first place.
Please don't bump threads this old. If you're intrested in a topic that is older than a week or so post a new thread and link it.
