Lost Season finally on tonight. Any fans here?
Don't be discouraged because a couple of jackasses got to your thread first. We love a good TV conversation in General Discussion.
I'm not a Lost fan, myself, but that's because I haven't had a chance to watch the show. My schedule makes it difficult to set a specific time slot for a TV show and I haven't gotten around to doing a DVD marathon. Everyone who watches it tells me it's good. Particularly the first few seasons.
Actually talking is now out of my scope(until tomorrow) because Lost is starting soon. Such a good show. I have really high hopes for the season finally.
Oh. Wikipedia didn't mention that. I have to admit it sounds pretty interesting.
I'm a big LOST fan. I live in Hawaii so I get to see them filming around town from time to time. Have yet to run into one of the actors however :P
Damn. For a second there I was overcome with joy when I thought you wrote "Series finally". A world without Lost would be a good one indeed. But then again, they'd probably find some brand new crap to fill it's spot anyways...
This Lost sounds like a very silly show.
ಠ_ಠ is on to something though, The Lost Room is the most fun I've ever had reading a wikipedia page, altho I guess I'll never get to see the show. However, there is something strange that you should go back and look at under "Character Histories", right after Jennifer Bloom, I think ;)
I watched The Fountain again the other night. Now that is a kick ass sci-fi/speculative fiction movie. Very trippy.
The show maybe for kids, but it wasn't written by kids.
I don't like lost, It sucks totally. (unless your talking about the one with dinosuars, then that show was totaly worth watching because of the jungle girl wearing animal skins)
But the one that was running currently about the island that shifts through time with a frozen core.(I'm assuming we're talking about the same show)
It totally sucks. Its time shift through the regular episode are irritating to me.
I really don't like shows that start in the middle/end and shift story-tell.
I like a begining to end type of show with as few flash-backs as possible. It just keep throwing randomness to it I guess, but I like things that are much easier to follow. Its like when your boss gives you an outline and when you completed the task he adds oh I meant to tell you three days before I gave you the project to add this other stuff to it.
As for sponge-bob... My kids used to watch it, so sometimes I wuold have to hear it unwillingly. Every-time I see sponge-bobs face all I can think is how his nose looks like a limp penis and the only two teeth they ever show represent the nuts. My sons fav character was Mr. Krabby. My daughters was Sandie(the underwater squirl) My youngest daughter just likes the funny things they sing and do. I do beleive it was written by adults, but I highly dout they would be able to go out to a local(redneck) bar and socialize with the audience there.(I personaly don't know them but to sit around and think about childish things all day has to warp ones mental abilities) Anyone up for some warcraft (joke)
I am all about 24.
For a second I thought that said "Sandie, the underwater non-sequitur". I would actually get cable just to watch that.
You know, I don't have cable. Which leaves me two choices:
1) Go for a swim and try to watch it in the YMCA locker room. There is an risk factor here, in that I will have to smack down some pretty big hands when they reach for the dial*. Advantages: I could do it in a towel and hit the steam room during commercials.
2) Convince someone with cable that this would make a great party. Disadvantages: I may have to provide beer and "peanuts".
*some people consider sci-fi a little bit sissy, as, you know, compared to "Ultimate Fighting".
You relaly need to watch the Lost Room, it's awesome. It's kind of like staring into the avatar of ಠ_ಠ, which from this point forward I'll refer to as "Crazy Eyes"
and MK27, relocate yourself out of the stone age and get a dvd player and rent the dvd.
