I know it's hard to program in assembly when it comes to driver and system programming because you have to know depth knowledge of system architecture and electronics.
Is the same true for learning assembly for reversing-viruses and malware?
I am not an engineer ,can I learn assembly for reversing malicious - codes?

If you have a bit of talent for programming, then you can probably learn assembler programming. That is of course a reasonable step away from learning how to reverse engineer code that is most likely not straightforward, nor trivial, like that used in viruses.
To summarise, yes, you probably can, but it's a fair amount of effort.
