No. It is COMMONLY 32 bits, but there are certainly compilers/systems that have different size int, bot larger and smaller.
However, Windows code will break if int and long aren't 32 bit, so you can rely on it for a Windows compiler.

If we are talking about C# (or more precisely - .Net CLR) - I think the answer is yes, int is 32 bit, it is done for multi language compatibility
