| File sharing? I can't share files between to the two computers. I've turned on file sharing. I have also enabled pinging on the lan side of the router but not the wan side, which is working. When I had the hub I could easily share files but couldn't get ICS to work. Am I doing something wrong? If I can ping both computers shouldn't I just be able to 'find' the computer by name? I've tried using 'find' through windows explorer and also at the command prompt to no avail.

| Just in case someone runs into a similar problem I thought I'd post my solution. In local security settings on my XP box under: Network access: Sharing and security model for local accounts. It was set up as Guest only-local users authenticate as Guest. Sounds fine and dandy except I had disabled the Guest account! So I changed it to: Classic-local users authenticate as themselves. Now it all works correctly! I thought I'd never get it up and running.
