client/server practice (not homework, we'll make our own)

f0rst p1st! as in, this is my first post. I'll skip the pleseantries...

as a beginner to C network programming, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in working to create a basic client/server script to test our skills? it'd be cool to network and share success I reckon (like when the first electronic ARPANET packets were sent).

beginners only i would hope, I don't want any intermediates taking advantage of me ;]

this isn't just a personals ad, any discussion on this type of basic framework would be cool.

Or you could read Client-Server Background
Along with the rest of the tutorial.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

you have to enable it private messaging on your profile. Goto settings on the top right hand corner, on the left under my settings, under my account, click on general settings. Finally on that page, turn private messaging on.
