GetHostByAddr fails to get NetBios Name for A Mac Computer

I'm using the example given by Microsoft here to retrieve NetBios names for the PCs on the network. However, one computer in particular, a Mac, is not giving out it's NetBios name and the GetHostByAddr function returns error WSANO_DATA (11004).

Can anyone shed some light on this problem? Is it a Mac issue (incorrect settings)?

EDIT: Bonjour is not installed on the Windows machines.

EDIT2: Ah I found the problem. The Macintosh machine did not have SMB broadcasting enabled. Under System Preferences>Sharing>Options. Case Closed.
