| This requires some kernel programming, but since you probably have all the necessary documentation for the controller, it might not be so hard. Have a look here: USB port in linux The second article will especially interest you, I think. It's by Mr Greg K-H, who is part of the kernel development team and is available on the kernel mailing list (but not the nicest guy IMO, so don't say I sent you ).
