bluez bluetooth programming

dear Cprogramming forum,

i'm newbie in linux programming.i wanna ask bout bluez programming.i got liitle documentation from bluez.org, i've written source code how to scan nearby bluetooth device, but i couldn't connect to device bluetooth.how to connect to device then how to change the date and time of their device ?

i'm sorry my english not well
