1.create ashare network drive so we can get files on windows
2.get theem on usb.
How to do any of these?

I am trying to get files from solaris 10 x86 :
1.create ashare network drive so we can get files on windows
2.get theem on usb.

Or you could run the FTP daemon on your solaris machine, then run an FTP client on the machine you want to copy them to.

Ftp not available.....copying to usb worked fine..had some file formating issues
