I was wondering. how many of you are linux developers. If so is it a good platform to develop for?

Cheese is good
cheese is bad
cheese makes me happy
and
cheese makes me sad
Well, there are a lot of things that makes you angry in Linux. For the sake of gcc, we have very few IDE's to write programs. It makes me somewhat angry to write in our famous editor, vi, and compile in gcc. I very much miss a good IDE, such as VC++6 or Borland C++Builder.
But I think things will improve when bigger companies moved into Linux in the near future.
This is exactly why I like programming under Linux. Just me, an editor, a makefile, maybe some man pages and the gcc
#include "reallife.h"
