Anyone know where I can get a free IDE for C++ for my Linux box, (Red Hat if you're wondering) or is there one already built in?

I prefer vim and gcc though.
Sorry, I should have been more specific. I need a free C++ IDE for KDE. Anjuta wouldn't install...
How about kdevelop then?
haven't used it much myself but it seems ok.
I think theres a Linux port of DevC++ too.
what about emacs?

AFAIK, Anjuta is for GNOME.Originally posted by BlakHauk

That makes no difference at all. You can run Gnome apps in KDE, and you can run KDE apps in Gnome. Hell, I don't use KDE *or* Gnome, and I run Quanta (a KDE app) and Galeon (a Gnome app). You just need the appropriate libraries installed.Originally posted by golfinguy4
