    Question Visual C++ and Linux

    Hi I was just wondering if anybody can givem e some pointers about developing a GUI interface with MS visual c++ to work under linux, or in a better sense is it even possible to develope apps. with
    MSV C++ for Linux??

    You can download Kylix off borlands website (about 90m) and it's a lot like VC++ (I think, it's much like CBuilder anyway). That would be more what you want.

    I'm getting it now but its taken about 3 days (damn dialup!).

    yes, it is.
    you can use handy dandy makfiles with a copy of cygwin and gcc.

    i dont know about you but unless you want to emulate using wine... i dont see how your going to make a msvc++ graphical program run under linux...
