Dumb Terminals

I want to display a bitmap on dumb terminals thru my c program

Can any body help me in this matter.

how dumb is dumb? a dumb dumb terminal can't do anything but text.

Dumb terminals can only display text...
If this doesn't discourage you right away you should try AA-lib (ASCII art library):
