    Linux event lib recommendations?

Can anyone recommend a C event library for linux? Preferably one comparable to BSD's. I've been Googling some, but haven't found anything (possibly because event is too general of a term?)

    Moved to Linux Programming.

Check this out: libevent. It's the library that's included in Ubuntu, and a short investigation leads me to believe it's the same library that you refer to as BSD's (don't have my BSD machine with me to confirm).

As a side note, I just noticed it's author is Niels Provos, who also wrote honeyd and the accompanying book if you're interested in security research.
