cairo-dock issue (Arch)
I just finished installing the cairo dock for Arch and i went to run it from the command line and receive this error:
Code:
(cairo-dock:17889): GTK_WARNING **: cannot open display:
I'm assuming this is because GTK doesn't know where to find the x server??

Solved it. I searched cairo under applications and clicked on GLX-DOCK and enabled OPENGL and that fixed the display issue I was having.
UPDATE: Oops, Never mind. The dock comes up and displays a message saying no plug-ins were found and will close now.

You can see the error above the dock.
if not, then:
Code:
No plug-in were found.
Plug-ins provide most of the functionnalities of Cairo-Dock (annimations, applets, views, etc).
See http://glx-dock.org for more information.
Since there is almost no meaning in running the dock without them the application will quit now.
I am going to hit google and see what I can come up with. Hopefully find a solution tonight.

Man This made the installation a breeze. Only took 2 minutes too. The dock is looking sweet!
