After you have finished installing Arch, you basically do not have to worry about it.
I wouldn't be so sure about that @manasij. I have read that a lot of users have lost wifi after kernel upgrades as well as after a system update. You are given complete control of your system after all. So there is a chance something might go wrong or break!

I ran into an issue 20 minutes after the xserver installation. I went to re-install a package for the desktop UI and manually canceled in the middle of the installation and lost my network. I rebooted and tied fixing it but luckily it was a fresh install, so i didn't hesitate not one bit reinstalling.

Check out my desktop now. I finished the installation of the cairo-dock too. Which btw is very customizable!

As I said, use the LTS kernel .... or learn how to downgrade the kernel quickly.

Cancellig when the system packages are being installed (not downloading) can damage *any* OS in the world.

Nice.. cairo worls great for me too...
though Gnome 3 is not my cup of tea.
KDE 4.8.3 is much more flexible and remains out of my way when actually using the computer.

Slow and Steady wins the race... if and only if :
1.None of the other participants are fast and steady.
2.The fast and unsteady suddenly falls asleep while running !
