Reading/writing process memory in linux? Possible from within Wine?
I'm curious as to how process memory can be accessed with C in linux (Ubuntu, more specifically). I'm also wondering if it's possible for an app written in C, but running in Wine, to do it. I know that's a bit odd, to say the least. I feel I can make a more solid app if I stick to more of what I know (C + Win32API), but I'm willing to consider GTK+ etc I guess. It would probably remain primarily used by people on Windows anyway. I have a pretty large app already. I'm ready to rebuild it, and revamp/rewrite certain aspects. However, I'm starting to use Ubuntu more than Windows, so I'm examining my options. XULRunner seems interesting and utterly insane at the same time. I've got a friend willing to help me with that though.
