    Could you suggest alternatives to www.buildroot.org for generating cross-compilation toolchain and root filesystem for target Linux systems?

    Specifically i need something using glibc (and not uclibc as buildroot does)

    I assume this is for a PC based system (not embedded) because of the choice of glibc... How much of a real root filesystem do you need? It might be better to start with something like Gentoo as a base.
