Software I can't live without

This is really just a disguised way to look for new interesting software

Name some of the software you simply can't live without. That software that you like to have around even if you don't always use it; aka your favorites.

Mine (in no particular order):

. Celestia
http://celestia.sourceforge.net/

. Stellarium
http://www.stellarium.org/

. Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall
http://www.sunbelt-software.com/Kerio.cfm (former Kerio Personal Firewall, former Tiny Personal Firewal. Yeah. This has been with me for a veeery long time. Still free)

. Gravity
http://mpgravity.sourceforge.net/ (Also with me since version 1 when it was a commercial product)

. HTTrack
http://www.httrack.com

. ADOM and Nethack's Slash'em
http://www.adom.de/ and http://www.slashem.org/ (I simply will never get bored with these two. Been too many years already.)

. DAEMON Tools
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php

Sorry Linux folks.

Come to think of it, most software I use is replaceable. These four are not. I'm just too used to them.

Soulseek

Actually I dunno. I might be able to deal with another OS. Never tried. But soulseek has provided me with a lot of soul. I support artists that make good music. I also need wordpad to write my papers for school. I still need a good method of keeping my music under control.

Many thanks to the Google gods for their awesome search engine.

Snap! I also have both of these. I think the AVG Free virus killer is a good tool. Never let me down and always updates when needed, better than that awful Norton 2001 I had, it was so outdated.

Will definitely take a look. For the life of me I can't seem to remember the name of P2P I used around 5 or 6 years ago when I was first introduced to web free artists and/or unsupported artists. It was not napster or kazzaa no. They hardly did anything of that. I remember it was blue *shrug*. The searching was web based, the download through a client.

Anyways, great music was being distributed back then with full approval and blessing of these great artists. Some of them were simply awsome. And a few of them started their careers doing it. Heck! Even one of my favorite bands, Hooverphonic, distributed some of their songs there.
