Oh noes, not again

I did this ages ago, but then, I didn't have WinAmps cool-ass "Generate HTML playlist", did I?

Share people, share. My playlist now is tragically short compared to what it used to be before "the unfortuneate event" (killed my PC) and yes, I listen to some weird stuff from all over the years. Laugh. You know you want to.

Eh, I see some garbage in there, though I'm liking you CCR collection, though. You're missing some key Foo Fighters songs, if you ask me. Anyway, if your looking to bulk up the list, then just go with come classic bands. You can't go wrong with The Beatles or The Rolling Stones, plus I light to throw in some mediocre songs from movies I like to get my mind thinking about them while I'm listening to music. I'll show you my playlist at some point but I'm not currently on the correct PC for it.

I was thinking of ripping 40 licks and I can't find that damn good Sgt. Peppers. I know it's around here somewhere.

I've got In Your Honor but it's in my bedroom and I'm, like, not.

Rolling Stones are horrible. Beatles, too. Except for
that one song that's only good because Fiona Apple
fixed it. Across the Universe.

Enya is some techno band I think. I keep forgetting who really was responsible for the "Only Time" song, but I think it was them. Your Pink Floyd section was excellently executed, by the way.

Hmmm ... wouldn't describe Enya as techno, not by a long chalk!!!! But yes, It was Enya that wrote Only Time. She's better known for Orinoco Flow back in the eighties though, althouth Only Time was used as a kind of "anthem" for the 9/11 attack.

Enya is often categorised as New Age, but many fans strongly disagree with this categorisation because of what "New Age" music often stands for, which kind of pigeon-holes it.

Moya (Máire) Brennan is her older sister, with the Irish group Clannad but also has some solo work, and she is releasing a new album this coming September.

I get the impression that a lot of folk here are into techno / heavy metal, etc. and this music is nothing of the kind!! But hey, you won't know until you've tried it.

You can hear a few of her songs on her MySpace account: http://www.myspace.com/moyabrennan

Add some Trip Hop to your collection when you can. Portishead, Massive Attack, Hooverphonic and Snicker Pimps. From what I see on your list, I believe you may like the sound.

Here's the Only Time music video:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...22Only+Time%22

I remember it being used to promote episodes of
Friends. I just remember Rachel turning around and
looking at Ross with a, "I love you" sorta expression
on her face with no sound other than "Only Time"
playing. It was very sweet.

And here's the Orinoco Flow music video:
