    Did he get banned as well?

    Whatever happened to Quzah?
    Code:
    int get_random_number(void)
    {
       return 4; //chosen by fair dice roll.
                 //guaranteed to be random
    }

    O_o

    No. My sarcasm, apparently, drove grumpy away from the forum.

    I guess he got bored of posting code and decided to plug his account.

    Miss CommonTater a whole lot. I'm actually a little bummed at him for leaving without notice. We used to take on heated discussions but where good friends in and off PM, or so I thought. I feel betrayed.

    You'll find that CommonTater was banned instead of leaving so shouldn't be bummed about a notice.

    Oh. Must have happened while I was taking an hiatus. Didn't know about that at all.

    Unlike your good friend abachler I presume? Ah, I remember the good old days when Mario vs abachler used to lit up the general discussions board

    Any oldies here miss the Kernel Hacking "mastp" btw? Nominal is beginning to sound more like him IMO (as verbose, as technical). Another enthusiast I am missing in action is the ever vibrant MK27. Well still the board is full of highly knowledgeable people and I am learning something new everyday.

    See, that's where you are wrong. Abachler and I... we had a real thing going on (!). He was an arsehole and I am an arsehole. We had fun calling each other out for it. We were on good standing with each other, judging from our PMs. But we had no problem going after each other throats on the discussion boards. That's how I like my friends.

    That's why I like Phantomotap so much too. He won't mince words or worry about pleasantries. If your feelings are hurt, you should not have had them in the first place. They are obviously a liability in your case.

    This is not to say I don't like other types of friends. Citizen, nowadays called whiteflags (always citizen to me, go figure), brewbuck, etc. they have completely different personalities to the likes of phantomotap, kzah, abachler, MK27. And still I have a lot of fondness for them. But I always like spice in my food.

    And this is the part of your post where I felt like a complete idiot.

    It's not CommonTater that I miss. It is MK27. Somehow I confused both names. CommonTater was an idiot. I don't miss that douche one bit. I found him on another board once. Still playing that song of his called "I'm 70 years old and have worked on more computers than you". Once I exposed him, he sort of left... to put it nicely.

    It's MK27 that I miss and am bummed at. Forget CommonTater.

    If I had my way and 5 minutes in a room alone with him, they would all start with O_x

    That's oddly violent and erotic.

    We've grown beyond ASCII erotica to the wonderful age of Unicode innuendo!

    (I now claim "Unicode innuendo" as my favourite meme.)
