    Can't Post Attachments?

Why can't I add attachments to my post?

Can you not find the right button? Or is it not letting you upload for some reason?

Probably because you need a greater post count to post attachments.

If what you need is to post some code, find the part that better illustrates your problem and post that inside code tags. If instead you want to post your entire code, know that chances are no one will care about reading it.

In posting permissions it says "You may not post attachments"?

You can't just go adding attachment to the board straightaway, you have to sweet-talk it first, get it to open up to you.

Hmmm, I've checked forum guidelines and FAQ and can't find info on not being able to add attachments?

Use one of the many services on the web that allow you to upload files and then link to it on your question. You will have access to attachments later on as your post count increases.

You have explained yet what's so important with this attachment. There is rarely a need for such a thing in a board like this and you may be misjudging the value of your attachment. Again, I'm warning you: people don't usually have the patience or care for reading your entire codebase in order to answer a question. You'll post an attachment of your code and they will tell you to instead post a snippet of the relevant parts of your code.

    Hi Mario

The attachment is a screen shot of my Excel Spreadsheet. I don't do any programming in C, I work in Excel. I was trying to post an explanation of what I do in Excel and was looking for someone who might be able to replicate what I do in Excel in C for me.

That's cool then. Use something like Imgur to upload the picture in the meantime. You don't even need an account. Then use the links they offer you for that image you just uploaded.

Maybe due to some restrictions by admin/moderators? I have not tried it though.
