Now why didn't you mention that in the first place (of course, I can't really SEE an RSS icon anywhere on the page)? But ugh, awful place. It uses javascript to dynamically show the pages on the blog instead of hyperlinks. Good luck finding the oldest posts!
That's Worpress default and Wordpress just happens to be the major blog hoster today.
Subscribe to the feed using a feed reader and read back in time to your heart's content.
And stop posting scenic replies. You are ignorant about how any of the blogging platforms work. That's not the platform's fault.

You know, the best way to deal with replies is to take feedback to the heart. I have no intention of subscribing to a site whose advertiser or members tell people to go away when they complain.
I really don't care whose problem it is. It's an inconvenience. It's annoying. It's putting me off. That is reality, and it is the author of the blog to make sure the blog is as accessible to people as possible. You may blame tools, platforms or whatever, but in the end, it falls on the shoulders of the author. Nowhere do I see, "I apologize for ...." to account for the fact that the blogger has attempted to find a solution to this problem. That makes it the author's problem.
Here are some examples of uncalled for attitude:
"Yeah, not going to happen. They ever heard of RSS?"
"But ugh, awful place."
Maybe you should take some time to work on how to give "constructive" and "polite" feedbacks.
If you had any idea on how free blogs work (at least after seeing the URL) you would have instantly known that free users cannot handle the aspects if are complaining about. The author just handles the contents of the posts.
What you are demanding is apologies for redundantly strong remarks in all your comments. I have tried to explain things and if those do not match your expectations or choice no one is pushing you to subscribe.
If you like the content in the blog, subscribe, if you don't like the content or any other aspect don't subscribe. It's up to you.

OP, you sound like the kind of vendor who when customers complain about your product, you tell them to get lost. So please, stop holding back the sentient evolution of the human species.

The blog is free for reference. I am neither selling anything here nor forcing anyone to follow the blog. You get what you see. If you do not like it, just move on.
I don't get why you're having so much trouble placing the quote on top of the reply unless you want it that way...
And we all know it's free and that we can take it or leave it, it is what it is.
What Elysia was trying to do for you was mention that if people have to put in even just a little extra bit of effort, that may be enough to turn them off. The idea is to get your content noticed by as many people as possible so you must swallow your pride and be accommodation to yes, even the people that bug you. Elysia expressed a concern and you blew him (her?) off which isn't the right attitude to have.
I prefer putting the quote below as long as I am replying to the immediate previous post.
And no, the blog is not for lazy people. A few guys put in a lot of effort to get quality content.
The presentation is pretty standard by Wordpress standards. And Wordpress is the de-facto leader:

Not sure what you're smoking... The blog renders posts and their links just fine for me, and NoScript is blocking all the JS.
My mistake, I should have realized that "leisure read" meant "mostly uninteresting personal drivel".
In the interwebs, you have 2 seconds to make a good first impression. That doesn't leave you much time after hunting for interesting tags/categories from the landing page.
