    Falling in love with a text editor? You guys need to get out more.
    Right 98% of the time, and don't care about the other 3%.

    If I seem grumpy or unhelpful in reply to you, or tell you you need to demonstrate more effort before you can expect help, it is likely you deserve it. Suck it up, Buttercup, and read this, this, and this before posting again.

    Yeah, I guess you just get grumpy with the editor.

    //joke, hope not fail ;p
    Code - functions and small libraries I use

    It’s 2014 and I still use printf() for debugging.

    I think this has to be the worse joke I've ever heard and I should know because I am the master of joke failures.

    So you mean... his jokes are all greek to us?

    No programming language is perfect. There is not even a single best language; there are only languages well suited or perhaps poorly suited for particular purposes.

    For how long have you worked as a programmer?
    7 years pro, 30+ total programming experience. Yes I was stupid and made it a career late.

    Any particular programming languages you mostly use?
    Any programming language that pays the bills.

    For what purposes?
    Eh? To solve problems.

    Which text editors do you use?
    Notepad++

    What defined your choice?
    Ease of use, flexibility, parses almost all file formats I use, syntax highlighting, column edits...what is not to like? Fantastic program.

    Which text editors you might have been using before?
    Notepad, DOS Edit, RHIDE, MSVS (terrible for raw text)

    Do you follow the other text editors updates?
    No time for that. Notepad++ works and I stick with it.

    Which text editors you DID NOT like? Why?
    Notepad. No features.

    What functions might some text editors be missing in your opinion?
    Most are still terrible at editing XML. Notepad++ still struggles with XML editing when you collapse the nodes to get a better view of the xml layout.

    I think it's been long enough but I am totally using Sublime Text now in lieu of gedit which I never thought I'd do. I'm even doing this in spite of the annoying pop-up message telling me to actually buy the software. $80, seriously?
