    I think you are mistaken. Laserlight workmate doesn't wear glasses.
    The programmer’s wife tells him: “Run to the store and pick up a loaf of bread. If they have eggs, get a dozen.”
    The programmer comes home with 12 loaves of bread.

    Of course not, laserlight fixes eyes.

    Hmmm. Whiteflag's opinion doesn't matter.
    Evidently not. People continued the conversation that your opinion managed to start. And it wasn't my fault this time. I'm genuinely happy about that; usually I get you on a tirade, yet, I actually prefer a more amicable atmosphere.

    And sometimes writing C++ code in answer to C code can be okay sometimes because it gives both sides of the coin

    I wear glasses. My eyes get tired from being on the computer for extended periods of time.

    I have glasses to wear but they are to relieve eye strain. Doc says I have 20/20 vision but perhaps it's not crystal clear 20/20 and there is not much they can do. He told me as we age our eye muscles are not as good as adjusting for imperfections and we begin to notice this. If I can reduce eye strain during the day then at night my eyes are not as blurry otherwise they can get pretty bad.

    And let me tell you the stupid Microsoft Consolas font and ClearType (should be called BlurryType) font system do not help my aging eyes. The font is the first thing I change on every new version of MSVS.

    An issue I have is that my eyes can pick up the pixel grid in LCD monitors very easily. If I look at a white screen I see little flashes of green and red all over. This did not happen as much with CRT and I am not sure why since they both rely on an underlying grid of pixels.

    I wear glasses to correct near-sightedness. I could survive without them, but I'd have trouble reading some road signs. I have thought about laser surgery, and I'll probably do it some day. The two big issues with glasses are not losing them, and fogging up when it gets cold outside (or getting sweat on them in the summer).
    Code:
    //try
    //{
    	if (a) do { f( b); } while(1);
    	else   do { f(!b); } while(1);
    //}

    It’s 2014 and I still use printf() for debugging.

    I noticed there's no entry for monocle. Are they seriously that out of fashion?

    And don't open your third eye - you'll just have the expense of buying triple lense glasses.
